Collaboration with the Romanian-Serbian rock band AMALA
The collaboration will be officially presented on April 20, 2024, in STUDIO of the Millennium center, where AMALA will hold a promotional concert. The Romanian/Serbian/German hard rock band Amala has finally scheduled the promotion of their new album "Romanie Hai", recorded a few years ago. When on April 1, 1989, Ljubiša Miša Grujić formed a band in Timișoara, he had no idea that this musical story would last for 35 years. Amala, as the band was called, started during the time of Romania under Ceausescu, and there were not many bands like this in Romania at that time, Amala filled stadiums and big stages, thus gaining the status of a festival band, not a club band. The cooperation between the band and the choir came about because three musicians from Amala live and work in Vršac, and they were the first members of the pop-rock choir FAMILY. Today, the Amala band consists of Ljubiša Grujić (Vršac, Timisoara), Aleksandar Jerković (Vrsac), Costel Cramba (Temišvar), Tiberiu Bitte (Temišvar, Germany), Dragan Perović (Vršac), Miloš Grujić (Vrsac, Timisoara).
